Mads Rosendahl Thomsen will speak on his book, Mapping World literature: International Canonization and Transnational Literatures (Bloomsbury, 2008), on Monday, November 2, 2015 at 2 pm in Phelps 6206C.

Professor Thomsen teaches Comparative Literature at Aarhus University, Denmark. He is currently a Visiting Professor at Stanford University. Author of Mapping World Literature: International Canonization and Transnational Literature (2008), The New Human in Literature: Posthuman Visions of Changes in Body, Mind and Society (2013), and editor of World Literature: A Reader (2012) and The Posthuman Condition: Ethics, Aesthetics and Politics of Biotechnological Challenges (2012).
